My Story…
Possessing 34 years of professional experience, Phil has held numerous roles in information technology, project & formal management and process improvement. In his early career he worked as an application developer, performing development work on numerous technology platforms including client-server, mid-range, web and telephony. He has served as adjunct faculty in IT and Project Management at Central Virginia Community College for the last 26 years. He is a Certified Six Sigma Professional , a Project Management Professional (PMP) , and a Certified Scrum Master (CSM). Phil possesses a Bachelors of Science degree in Management Science (Now Business Information Technology) from Virginia Tech and a Masters degree in Administration (concentrating in Personnel Management) from The University of Lynchburg. He currently serves as Senior Project Manager for The University of Virginia. Phil has been married for 30 years to his wife Martha and is the proud father of two sons, Noah and Christian.
